Reactive Studio ("we", "our", or "us") operates the CopyForge application for macOS. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our application.

1. Overview

CopyForge is designed with privacy as a core principle. The application operates entirely on your local device and does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers.

2. Data Collection

We do not collect any data. Specifically:

• No personal information is collected
• No usage analytics or telemetry data is gathered
• No crash reports are sent to us
• No cookies or tracking technologies are used
• No account creation or login is required
• No network requests are made by the application

3. Local Data Storage

CopyForge stores the following data locally on your device only:

• Clipboard History: Text and images you copy are saved in a local Core Data database so they can be accessed later.
• Snippets: Reusable text templates you create are stored locally.
• Encryption Keys: If encryption is enabled, the AES-256 key is stored in your macOS Keychain — never in plain text.
• Preferences: Your app settings are stored in the standard macOS UserDefaults system on your device.

All locally stored data can be cleared at any time using the "Clear History" function in the app settings.

4. Clipboard Access

CopyForge monitors the system clipboard to perform its core function — maintaining a clipboard history. The app:

• Reads clipboard content (text and images) when it changes
• Filters out sensitive data (OTP codes, IBANs, credit cards, tokens) when Privacy Guard is enabled
• Does not read clipboard content from blacklisted applications
• Supports optional AES-256-GCM encryption for stored clipboard data

5. Third-Party Services

CopyForge does not integrate with or send data to any third-party services, APIs, analytics platforms, or advertising networks.

6. Children's Privacy

CopyForge does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The app is safe for use by users of all ages.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Since we do not collect any contact information, we encourage you to review this page periodically.
