Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the CopyForge application ("the App") operated by Reactive Studio ("we", "our", or "us").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using CopyForge, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use CopyForge on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

3. Description of Service

CopyForge is a macOS utility application that:

• Monitors the system clipboard and maintains a searchable history of copied content
• Provides smart text transformation actions
• Supports reusable text snippets with dynamic variables
• Offers optional AES-256-GCM encryption for stored data
• Organizes clips into workspaces
• Captures screenshots to clipboard history

4. User Responsibilities

When using CopyForge, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You are responsible for the content you copy and store in the application
• You understand that clipboard data is stored locally on your device
• If you enable encryption, you acknowledge that losing access to your macOS Keychain may result in inability to decrypt stored data
• You are responsible for maintaining backups of important data
• You will use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will meet all your requirements
• The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• The results obtained from the App will be accurate or reliable
• All clipboard content will be captured in every case

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL REACTIVE STUDIO BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP.

In particular, we shall not be held liable for any data loss resulting from clearing clipboard history, encryption key loss, or any other operation performed by the user through the App.

7. Intellectual Property

CopyForge and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by Reactive Studio and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Updates

We may from time to time provide updates to the App that may include bug fixes, new features, or other improvements. These updates are subject to these Terms unless separate terms are provided with the update.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the App will immediately cease.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Czech Republic, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Czech Republic.

11. Apple App Store Terms

These Terms are supplementary to, and do not replace, the Apple App Store Terms of Service. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the Apple App Store Terms, the Apple App Store Terms shall prevail to the extent of the conflict. Apple is not a party to these Terms and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
